Gerri Watson
Gerri Watson is the President and Lead Formulation Chemist of Elite Formulations, bringing decades of R&D leadership and innovation to the personal care industry. She began her career as an R&D Chemist and advanced into executive leadership roles, including Vice President of Research & Development, through her work on award-winning and market-leading products..
At Elite Formulations, Gerri leads a full-service laboratory focused on developing high-performance formulations across skincare, haircare, sun care, acne treatment, and cosmetic applications. She partners with both established and emerging brands to guide products from concept through commercialization, with an emphasis on efficacy, stability, and regulatory compliance.
Gerri has formulated products for globally recognized brands including Unilever, Neutrogena, Murad, Rizos Curls, and Curldaze. Her work spans nearly every segment of the cosmetic market and includes four patented technologies across multiple personal care categories.
A graduate of Loyola Marymount University’s Executive MBA program, Gerri combines scientific depth with strategic business leadership to help brands create differentiated, market-ready products.
